May Updated on the Lefebvres....

Lucy is now 4 months old. She loves to sit in her Bumbo and making razz sounds. She is such a sweet natured little girl with a lot of character!

A lot has happened in the last month...

Ashley's family came to visit for Easter. We took our first family photos since Lucy was born--just the 3 of us as well as the 7 of us (Craig, Toni, Adam, Ashley, Lucy, Catherine, and everyone's BFF Joe). We really wanted to take advantage of the ocean--at that point, we knew we might not live here much longer.

Lucy was so cute in her little Easter dress and loved her first Easter basket. No search for eggs this year, maybe next year.

At the end of April we took a trip to Paradise to celebrate several birthdays: Auntie Cady, Seth, & Kim's brother-in-law and dear friend Manny. While Adam and Ashley went to the Casino to celebrate Catherine's 21st, Lucy had her first over-night with out Mom and Dad at Adam's Mom's house. Lucy has such a great time with Grandma Marian and we as parents felt very confident and proud of ourselves for leaving her at just 3.5 months old! I don't mean to brag, but we are awesome parents. :)

I've been trying to capture the "perfect photo" of Lucy to submit to a baby contest, so I've gotten a lot of great shots. Here are some:
There are A MILLION more that I want to post, but I'll leave that for another day.

On to updates...

Adam will graduate on May 16th from HSU with a degree in Forestry. Since January, he has been looking for a job for after he graduates. Two weeks ago he was offered a job with the US Forest Service in Susanville. Susanville is not our first choice of places to live, but it is certainly not our last. So, after the offer, we made arrangements to move and all that that entails.

Ashley was called that same week by Susanville Real Estate and offered a job as a Realtor (she became licensed in January).

Last week we were approved for an apartment! Everything is coming along swimmingly!

This week is Adam's last week of normal instruction and neither of us can believe it's coming to an end! Our life in Humboldt has been one of much joy but has tested our patience and trust in the Lord beyond what we expected. Although we really wanted Adam to find a job in Butte County, we know that God has great plans for us where ever we end up and we are excited about the prospect of Susanville! Plus, they have a Wal-Mart!!!

Good to see you on blogspot! Check out my blog at thegiffordsplace.blogspot.com! Lucy would surely win the cutest baby contest in the girl category (I am still partial that Roman is the cutest boy!) ;)
