Lucy had a doctor's appointment this morning. She weighed 11.3 pounds and is 23 1/2 inches long! She's in the 25% for height and head size. We had a really nice nurse who talked to Lucy as she gave her her shots. Lucy was such a champ. The first time I took her to get her immunizations, she SCREAMED the whole time. This time she whimpered through the first one and only cried really hard on the second one for a short while. I think she was a bigger trooper because her daddy was there. I didn't laugh at her nearly as hard this time.
Her next check up will be at 6 months (around the end of June) and at that time they're going to order x-rays for her hips. Her hips look good, but it's a precautionary measure because she was breech. I guess being breech, first born, and female can all lead to hip problems in the future (that's probably my problem). Until then, she's a happy healthy little baby!
